Drop in the ocean

The programme for the concert was inspired by the words of Mother Teresa: “We ourselves feel that what we are doing is just a drop in the ocean. But if that drop was not in the ocean, I think the ocean would be less because of that missing drop.”
This links to the message of Easter that Christ died for every one of us and that each one of us has received amazing grace. Therefore, we can believe in God, even when He is silent. However small we feel, our lives make a difference to the world. And although life is difficult, the love of God and other people will carry us.
The programme includes, amongst others: Abun D’bash’maiyo (Lord's Prayer in Aramic) by Mark Templeton, Lenten motets by Antonín Tu?akspý, How sweet the sound and Bend by Kyle Pederson, Canto que Amabas by Z Randall Stroope, Ripple effect by Sarah Quartel and Mangisondele Nkosi Yam arranged by Michael Barrett. The cellist Sinead Watters joins us for Ripple effect.
